I just recently went through this (like just this week). depending on who and what its about, or who it's going to hurt makes a difference in you're decision.
Let me tell you about my dilemma. Several years ago our daughter befriended a little girl in school, that we all just took to right away. We grew to love her and she was just a part of us. Well she is in high school now, she lives with her mom which really isn't a good thing. Her dad and I are good friends and work together. So there is a little bit of history and details up till now.
My daughter comes home this monday from school and tells me that this little friend of hers is pregnant, she is 14! I drove down and talked to her, she didn't want to tell her dad yet she was waiting. Well, I spoke with her every day about telling her dad, she said she was waiting for like a month to tell him. What would you do?
I TOLD HIM. I couldn't live with it after about a weak and I told him. I love her, and I know she will be mad. I would want to know if it was my daughter.
